Noisy Seats
Does anyone else's seats make noises while your driving? My back rest adjuster knob on the right side of my driver's seat rubs on the center console at times and makes noises......my passenger seat also makes noises because is seems like it is loose or something....anyone else have these problems?

THESE ARE MY EXACT COMPLAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
naturally the dealer can't recreate the situation. even had one tech inquire as to how much i weighed so as to imply that my fat ass is causing it somehow. BTW, i'm 5'11 and 230...i don't think i should be causing seat failures

Me too, exactly, I just adjust the seat all the way back and down to give it some tension when I'm driving solo. Its especially bad when it gets cold out. Those are my only complaints about the car, the rattles and creaks. Then again the dealer would say that its do to the springs i installed. oh well.

Seats
I had a similar problem. My driver's seat squeaked. Drove me nuts. I took it to the dealer. He heard it and took the back off to check springs. Nothing. Tried some saddle soap. Nothing. I solved it several days later. It was the spring in the seatbelt latch. Squeaked like Hell. WD-40, Gone!. Don't know if this is what you're hearing, but check it out.

My seat just started squeeking, and creaking about 3 days ago. When ever I turn left, the seat leans right and creaks a little. I tried some wd-40 on the seat track, but I couldn't get to it very well. So it still sqeeks. I don't know what to do.

frankieb - is that with the seatbelt latched or unlatched?
I'm having seat noises as well...sounds like they're coming from the seatbelt clasp area or underneath the right side of the seat. But it's not my fat ass...I'm 6'1" and 145#.

Rob, it was the latch on the right side of the seat. The part with the spring and release button. I only got the squeak with the belt secured. Especially on turns. I was sure it was the seat itself.
Damn spring mechanism in the latch was the problem. Just a little lube and it was gone.
