Last night for the first time I had the car out at night. All interior lighting worked except the console with the auto shifter. None of the gears light up on the center console.

yea man its one bulb, u can put in a led or u can put in a pos incandecent bulb... like i did lol

for my car i unscrewed the shifter then poped off the the trim around the gear selection cover, then remove the gear selection cover and u will see underneath a piece of plastic the has all the gears on it. remove that piece and under u will see the tiniest little bulb u will ever see.. it's so cute

Is this an every two year thing guys or is it just me?

 

Any idea on the LED bulb part number?

The regular bulb is PN - 35505-692-003

 

Just pull it out and then look for an led replacement. I cannot remember the part number. Once u have it out then u can figure out the right led to put in.

 

All on luck I guess! Got a 2001 Acura-CL-S that I bought new back in 2000, 161,000 miles and never had to replace the clock light.

 

Lol when I bought my 01 ...it was out. A year and a half later, died again... Now it died again.. Lol

Do they even make led replacements that have the plastic backing so u can twist them in?

 

Never look at it and pretty sure my bulb has not worked in years. I use the indicator in the instrument cluster...
