good question. I didn't use a blow down tube when I was running nitrous. I didn't even know there was two different types.
***
Zex.com has three types listed including one thats universal(part#82099). Get that one, can't go wrong with that choice. Good luck.

I never used the bottle warmer when I had nitrous so I'm not sure. I believe Mattg had a nitrous setup previously when he had the cl, maybe i'll provide some information also.

I've been considering nitrous for a while now and still am... From everything that I have read the bottle warner is a nessesity for optimum performance from your zex kit.
If and when I get the dry kit I will def. be getting the bottle warmer, I believe its worth the $$$$$.

the bottle heater is good for consistent runs with little time in between. When the p;ressure in side the bottle drops from you using hte nitrous the bottle becomes incredibly cold (like when you spray an aerosol can for a while it becomes realy cold), this means the pressure will eb lower inside the bottle and you will get less nitrous when you spray.
The bottle heater keeps the bottle at a constant pressure meaning you always get a good solid stream of nitrous.

^^ Yep, exactly. When you use the nitrous and you start running low , you will notice a huge difference in performance. Bottle heater will eliminate that, so unless you are bracket racing at the tracks or plan on using it in the winter, no rush in getting it. You should get a pressure gauge, it helps equate performance to pressure for your butt dyno and also lets you know how much you got left before use.
I'd get the blow down tube for peace of mind. You never know when you may forget your full bottle of nitrous in your car on a hot summer day out in the sun, or forgot the bottle heater on and BOOM! The blow down tube seal will just blow and exhaust your nitrous safely.
The difference between male internal and external depends on the type of valve you have on your bottle. You can look at the models on Zex's website and get the specific one depending on your model.
