Is this the advertisement that acura will use? I think the 6th sense idea is cool, which probably means acura didn't come up with and isn't using it

It's from the vtec.net

Is it just me or does the shifter in the new 6-speed sucks! They should have either:
1)Redesigned it
2)Put 01-02 Type-S Shifter

It’s just you.

I can’t wait to get my hand wrapped around that beautiful leather knob.

The SUM-BITCH could be shaped like a DILDO for all I care.
At least I’ll be able to control the engine better then some microprocessor that thinks it knows how to drive.

I’m sure it’s a standard size thread attachment that can be easily replaced by lots of aftermarket styles.

No. Still working on the loan (down to $3300) but I just paid my Q4 income taxes and sales tax, plus I'm getting stretched on my receivables a little so cash is tight. And I'm remembering the advise I got here about getting the mortgage before the new car loan. So hopefully I'll have the condo by early summer and the car 6 speed will follow shortly. I just hope it doesn't turn into an S2000 where dealers ream buyers because they can.

who cares what it looks like

I agree with Shawn. I have test driven so many lousy manual transmissions (the latest are the Nissan brothers). I am hoping that this CL will uphold the Honda/Acura tradition. After a year or so the feel of the tranny will far out weigh how it looks.

on a much less important note.

I personally would prefer there were no perforated leather anywhere on the car. Would much prefer the CL-P seats.

I like the perforated seats. Nice air pockets for people who release gas seldomly in the car!
