NGK Iridium Plug Question....

I have read several posts and am confused. One of the cons of doing a search, I suppose, but at least I did my homework before I posted a thread.....lol

According to the following link, the 2001 CL Type S should use part number ZFR5FIX-11 (NGK IX iridium plug).

http://www.sparkplugs.com/results_ap...1&AAIA=1367849

However, I have seen another part number for the IX plugs.

ZFR6FIX-11 (this is a colder plug, correct?)

So....should I believe the information on Sparkplugs.com or would getting the cooler/colder plug be better? (all I have on my car is a CAI and headers & Winter is right around the corner)

Just curious.....VERY curious. Don't want to get something that will bite me in the ass down the road.

THANKS!!!!!!!

I just researched this. The ZFR5FIX-11 is for the auto's
The ZFR6FIX-11 is for the 6 speed.
Thats according to the NGK people I have talked to.
