New Yorkers, has anyone ever gone to Watkins Glen for a day when they open it up to the public and you can take your car for a couple laps? Has anyone even heard of this?

My old boss told me about it one time, they let him take his stock Durango for a couple laps with his kids in the car. It sounds like it would be a good time.

 

where exactly is this place?...ill b back in NY from college for summer break by may 5th so maybe ill get in on it

I just did it seach, no offense bro, but New york is considered pretty much anything with in a hour of NYC.

That place is in bumble Fuk. I don't even know how many upstate members we have here, besides Soopa

 

I'm from Albany, NY and I have known of Watkins Glen since I was like 10. Just b/c you don't know about something dosen't mean it dosen't exist or it isn't any good.

By the way... does that mean I am not from NY?

And, it's just west of Binghampton. That means it is closer to you than it is to me.

Back to the topic at hand. I have heard something about this. I'm not sure about open track but, I know you can pay like 300 dollars and get a full day of driving lessons and some track time too. Now you got me interested. Good Idea!!!
