That does look interesting. Four accelerometers? Wow, and I thought the original could do a lot with just the one... It says "no installation" so I doubt they'll need a tach feed. It says RPMs are measured with an "intense DSP paired with a powerhouse ARM processor and very sophisticated software". Ooooh... (Obviously it was a marketing guy and not an engineer who wrote that.) They say available in winter 2002 but I hope that means Jan or Feb (and I hope it's priced under $300). Looks good!

IMO -- If they did this right, it should finally be accurate on ALL cars.
I will probably buy one...
