More SMGs have blown up, but its still a mixture between the two trannys.

Unsure.......I'll certainly keep you updated if I decide to get an S2k.

SMG is definitely cool, but I just like having a traditional manual (don't mind saving $2400 either).

I tried to order a special color, but BMW wasn't accepting them at the time.

Thanks for the comments, I just picked it up earlier today (so far so good, hasn't blown up yet).

the navi does sux prior to 02 but i've downloaded the software upgrade to the navi to the latest one and its 10X better. much faster but still no touch screen and still have to punch in a friggen city before u enter a address.

hey also don't get the silvervision its a ripp off and it doesn't light up very well.

I went with APC Titan bulbs from car domain. they've fit perfectly in my 7 as well as my boys 2003 E46 m3. same bulbs actually.

also about 7 bucks.

good luck w/ the M

Not yet, the car has about 15 miles on it.

Crazy.....you just got a new car, be happy.

Nova.....I'm going to give the SV a chance (Just using them for the front corner bulbs). I'll probably pick up the ones you recommended also to compare.

I'm happy with the red gut thus far, again I appreciate the feedback.

That is one Hot ASS car man! Good Choice on everything. BTW, any mods you plan on doing to it? Like Dinan S2 package or RMS Supercharger?

I have coilovers and an exhaust (major mods wise), most everything else for the car is too pricey. An intake for the car, Dinan or Gruppe-M is like $1200....for 8hp tops I don't think so.

Might do some aluminum pedals, that's good for about 10hp.

Euro floating rotors would be cool (we'll see).

congrats!

the BEST color combo EVER!

take more pics

btw, seems like its begging for a short shifter...but maybe its just the angle in the first few pics

what kind of coilovers did u get? what exhaust?

any gains from the exhaust, or is it simply to get rid of the m3 sound which isnt exactly loved...by all...

Somehow I missed this thread yesterday.

Anyway…. Congrats on the new ride man. I’m sure you’ll love it.
And good choice on buying one with 3-pedals on the floor.

I was seriously considering getting a 6-Series in a year or two, but the expected 70K price really put a damper on THAT plan.
