new Rear brakes?
Hey guys, just went in to service and they said that I need new rear brake pads. Any ideas for companies? or is OEM okay for the rear. Also how much should this cost, they want 250 for pads, and to recut the rotors.
Thanks
Thanks

Yeah 250 for pads and labor, i don't think i want new rotors, just rear pads, what are the best for price, and how much is labor. Do they need to be recut etc, or just installed in place of the old ones.
Thanks

That's WAY too much for a rear brake job. You should be able to get it at half of the price. Generally, when you change pads the rotor should be cut. Like some one suggested earlier, at $250 you can get new Brembo rotors and pads and still get a hundred back to pay for the labor if you can't do it yourself
