The story on "race on III!"

I got this promotional decal from stickershop.ca and my brother got creative with it.

It means race on 3, as in go on the third honk. I like it. We made it out of "stickershop.ca".

I don't get a lot of races, so maybe it'll get me some now -- or maybe a cop pulling me over for it and get into a high-speed chase.

Not hooked up yet, so not dyno-tuned yet. I'm waiting on scalbert's word on the harness.

Thanks.

I like that kit and overall the car looks great.

Even if you don't see any gains from the V-AFC it still looks pimp.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone.

Jennifer -- Yeah, I finally got it fixed and molded in. Because of parts delays, it took a while, but what can ya do?

Darrin -- No, I haven't Zaino'ed my car in a long time. Just the Zaino wash. It's been bothering me that I haven't taken care of my car lately. Also, I found about 5 chips all over the car, and 3 of them are rusting. I hate highway driving. I don't know what to do; get those areas repainted, or wait until it's all shot to shit then repaint the entire car. But that'll cost like 2-3 grand easy. Ugh.

Thanks, Jen.

My brother took that one, among a few other ones. He's much better with a camera than I am. :o

Oh, yeah, the rear body kit piece is not yet molded in. No money and no time. But more of the former. Hopefully it'll be done in the next few weeks.

I thought you were gonna mold the VAFC into the sunglass holder.

I thought about it. But it was going to get too messy. So I just cut and wet sanded the bottom part of the holder to try to make it look as smooth as I could and called it a day.

All the stickers came with the parts I bought, except the Apex ones (can't really see in the pictures). They are all silver, though, and don't stand out much. It just happened so that I only got silver decals with the parts. And I never asked for silver or specified the color of my car. Go figure.

V-AFC stands for VTEC Air Flow Converter. You can adjust air-to-fuel ratio to optimize the mixture for max performance, and it also lets you adjust VTEC engagement and disengagement points. Real handy. But it has to be dyno-tuned. You can't just punch in some guessed numbers -- that's a sure way to blow up the engine.

Nice ride! your "Race on ///" isn't going to win you any brownie points when/if you get pulled over.

you gotta lose the "race on" sticker :ghey:

and I'm very curious as to why you didn't have them make the kit flush w/ the body? W/ all that work to mold it you would think you would of taken the extra step to get rid of the lines.

other then that it looks good
