new part advise needed

I want something else to bump up a little more power with out going into the heads or block.

I now have pulleys,headers,deleted mufflers,k+n drop in w/box removed,type s TB,and clp manifold all pnp'd to the head,and a 100 zex shot.

What else could I do ?

Be happy with what you got. Save your $ for other things.
Your going to roast your trans, may as well start a fund to replace it.

I would hate to spend 2-300 to not even feel anything."thats a pair of type s cams".
Althou I could buy a cheap polished tube for looks and get a k+n filter for it and it would not cost as much.

u will feel the intake at high end for sure, and see it on the rpm gauge with the intake.

get thermo gaskets from p2r they drop the manifold temps by a lot. 1 for the manifold and 2 for the spacer. it helps.

XLR8 high flow cat will help since u got no mufflers anymore.

SO, intake (of some sort (custom pipe would be the best/cheapest method)) high flow cat, and thermo gaskets.

that should keep u busy for a week or 2

A intake should help complement all that porting you did. Someone suggested traction as an option. I would not do that. If you put some slicks on to run at the track you are likely to break some shit. Axles, tranny, diff. All kinds of stuff. I've seen it happen a few times at the track. Guy adds about a 100 hp to a stock drivetrain and it runs great, then decides to put slicks on and launches the same as his street tires and WHAM, BANG, BOOM. All kinds of shit gets busted. + all that equipment you have added is adding a lot of weight, wich puts even more stree on the drivetrain. I'm just guessing that the tranny would be the first part to go.

With the porting and the nitrous, I think I would work on replaceing the exhaust with bigger tubing. From the headers back. You did all that work to get the air into the engine, now work more on getting it out. Just my thoughts.

Or shed some weight, CF hood and trunk lid would help.

add what weight? only thing that's added is the nitrous and that's not A LOT of weight. pulley is lighter, headers are lighter, and he said he's got the mufflers deleted, so he's lighter than most cl's

I was talking about his audio equipment. He has like a 200LB speaker box in the trunk does'nt he. Like a 15 and 2 10's or something. So if he still has it in there with all his other audi/video, I'd bet e he is heaverier than most CL's.

Ok, you mean overall traction/handling like corners and stuff? Thats cool, I thought someone implied for his 1/8 th miles runs (Which I think is where his intrest lies) he should use slicks.

I agree that beter handling is very fun! Too bad the CLS is so prone to understeer. (as most FWD cars are)

4 12's and 1 18. 4 12's are still in the car
The trunk is actually striped right now.
I haven't put anything back in since I took it out when I had the bumper and trunk resprayed.
