find a good body shop, its hard to match "exact" (unless its 040 black) but as long as they blend you'll be fine

I had my car rear-ended after only havin her for 5 weeks!!! I took it to the best body shop in the East Bay (IMO) and they had to replace the bumper. I was soooo worried that the paint wouldn't match. They did an AWESOME job!!!! You can not tell the difference at all!!!! My advice is ask around and go to a BUNCH of different body shops and see their work. Don't expect to pay $1000 for a paint job either. Quality work takes time and money. Hope this helps.

my friend has his own shop in san bruno. this isn't a cheap plug for him because i barely know the guy. but either way, he does a great job. his name is rich and the shop is called eurodesign. he has done custom paint jobs too. i'm bringing him my bike fairings as soon as the racing season begins.

bro, consider doing your whole car and doing a color that nobody has. That would be awsome. This photo is from another thread, but I love it , and it is exclusive...

first off: speak english.
I work at an Acura Dealer, we do our own body work (we don't send it out) and every paint repair has a lifetime warranty

wow, no acura dealers in our area will touch that kind of work. hell, they don't even do the window trim, or interior leather work. you can forget about paint or body work.

Yea..the Acura dealer I went to put a 3 foot scratch on my hood when I brought it in for Service. They sent it out and gave me a loaner. This wasn't Park Ave.

ur from Pennsylvania and i dont know how the acura service run over there.... but all the dealers in s.cali that i know doest NOT touch any bodywork not even DENTs... so u should find out the dealers situation over SANGABRIEL AREA first before u talk shit... and not ALL the paint repair has lifetime warrenty... most of them only gives u 3-5years so dont be telling peoples EVERY PAINT REPAIR HAS LIFETIME WARRANTY

This is funny on so many levels...

Incidentally, I went to get an estimate to have my car painted today. The shop said that they can match the paint close enough so that nobody would notice. The estimate I got was for $787, which is with a five year warranty. I know one of my idiot neighbors is gonna dent/scratch my car in the next five years anyway, so that's what I am going to go with. For your newer (and more expensive) cars, you might want to go with something a bit more expensive. The shop I went to is working on a 2000 dollar Honda silver (looks like Satin Silver) paint job on a Legend Coupe. The car was originially black, so a lot of the car was disassembled, and trim was removed. The (almost) finished product looks fantastic.

Not that I disagree with the color, but if you do that, you can't trade it in. You'll get the sandpaper condom from a dealer if you do.
