new pads + paint calippers

hello from Panama! just ordered new pads (Nissin) and thinking might as well paint calippers since I will be replacing myself... thinking of a bronze (brass?) color (red and orange are very common among ricers down here)... will the paint need to be high heat resistant? or can I use a good quality, rust preventing, brush application coating? any tip for this task is welcome and appreciated, same goes for any thoughts you might want to throw. All the best my friends!

Id suggest brake caliper specific paint. Not sure how easy it will be to source in Panama however.

Dupli-color has limited colors for caliper specific paint. The paint needs to be heat and chemical resistant. Theres also Plasti-kote and VHT. Do a google search for caliper paint and you can see a few of the brands.

Powdercoat is actually the best option, but it takes longer since you have to remove them from the car, clean them up, powder coat them and bake them. You may need to rebuild the calipers too since the seals may tear.

Mine are powdercoated and have been on the car for over a year and still look like they did on day one.
