Talking New Owner: 2001 CL-S w/Navi Black on Black

Well after 3+ years of wanting the CL I finaly got one. Just the way I wanted it Black with Black leather, type S with navigation. Car is awsome totaly love it.

The car doesnt have a spoiler, so I wanted to either get the OEM acura one or the M5 lip one. Leaning towards the M5. People on the boards are talking about the replicas and the real ones not sure which one to get and better yet where to get it. Can someone help with that?

Also one of my fogs is out, and I want to get a more bluish color so they would at least kinda match the headlights. First off is there anyway to turn the fog lights off until I replace the bulb, and also where can I purchase the right bulbs and which ones would you guys recomend (pics would be helpful).

Thanks for all the opinions, really love my car, hopefully will get some pics up here asap!

First of all, Congrats on the purchase and Welcome to the board Before you get flamed by the VETS here, let me be the first to say "use the SEARCH Luke". lol

There are a lot of opinions on whether or not to use the OEM BMW or replica wings, but seriously, there's really not much of a difference so go with the replica. Plus it's much less than the OEM BMW M5 wing.

With the driving lamps, you're not really going to get a match with the headlights but you can come close. The majority of the board go with either Polarg M6 or PIAA's. However there are others...

Here are a few sites to get you started... Goodluck and let the MODDING BEGIN!!!

For the wing, try this site http://www.c-c-c.net/CustomCarCreati...Page/index.htm

For the driving lamps just do a search on this site, it's been well covered...

Welcome.

I would get the M5 spoiler. Just be careful putting it on.

The bulbs you are looking for is either the Polarg M6 or the PIAA 19224.

Thanks guys. Another question is, is there anyway to turn my fog lights off untill I install my new lights (btw have no idea how to remove the lens on the fog light). Where can I order the M5 spoiler from, tried looking for it on ebay but cant find it. (any recommendations) And where can I buy 03 tail lights for my car?

Thanks guys really appreciate your help, and btw I learned to use the search feature

- V

P.S. I have the 17 inch stock chrome type S rims

A lot of the stuff you need for your car (i.e. M5 lip spoiler, 03 tails, etc.) can be found on www.c-c-c.net.
it is operated by a member of our beloved AcuraZINE

There is no way to just "turn off" the fog (or ROAD lights as we call them) and the search function will turn up some instructions on how to change the bulbs for your road lamps..

Happy modding!

Can you buy these at your local auto store like AutoZone, or do you have to order them off the net?

Thanks and welcome LAKings
