Hey, I am a new member. I have a stock 02 CL-S. White with Lumar Tint on all windows. I enjoy handing civics and eclipses their @ss's with a stock car. I like music of the hip-hop genre, oasis, coldplay, weezer, roots, common, stuff like that. I have a 12 inch phoenix gold xeon sub with a phoenix gold amp. Love it. And was wondering about where i could find a mild body kit ( like the one in the ron jon ad on this page ). I also was looking to lower my cl about 2 inches but not disturb the ride. and was wondering if the comptech catback exhaust with headers is the best choice for full exhaust. Help Pleaze?

Here is the Ultimate knowledge page (kind of out dated, but still will answer most basic ?'s )
http://www.geocities.com/gamesmgr/chod/acura/

Rondog's kit is pretty subtle, but probably the most subtle kit IMO is the TL body kit (2nd gen I think). Can search for pics using keyword: TL Kit, or TL OEM kit.

Lowering, the best drop and non ride comprimising is the Comptech Lowering Springs (1.5 in front, and 1 in the back), and no camber kit required.
Here is my old CLS lowered on the Comptech's

BUT, if you want to be height adjustable you can go with Coilovers such as the Tein basic, or SS.

Exhaust:
In terms of the best quality and craftmanship, yes, Comptech is the way to go. They are the most expensive way to go also. Best bet would be to watch the private sales and trades forum, and watch for some used CT (abbreviated Comptech) headers and exhaust if you don't want to pay full price.

Exhausts really aren't going to do much performance wise unless you plan on adding a super or turbo charger.
The Type-S came from the factory with a very low restriction exhaust, so adding aftermarket, is really just for looks and sound, unless you plan on forced induction.
Hope this helps, and welcome.

welcome

and the TL kit requires a lot of modification to fit the CL. Most people that have it done seem to have connections with body shops, so they get it done for cheaper than most would.

I'd go with the Ronjon if I were you.

Welcome.

The RonJon kit is better than the TL kit. You can also look at the H&R sport springs instead of the Comptechs. I had those before I got coilovers.

If you're looking for more power, short of the Comptech supercharger, the way to go will be the CT headers. They kick ass.

Enjoy.
