Hey Everyone,
I'm a new member here and I just wanted to make my first post and tell you guys how much I like your forums. I personally do not have an Acura, my best friend has a black TL-S and one of my other friends (who is a girl) has a CL-S. I think they're both awesome cars, and I have a lot of respect for you guys because I'd love to have an Acura. Also, after reading some of your posts I've begin to notice how unpopular those rice rockets are on this site. I can't stand those things. I've been reading your posts for a while now, and I just thought that I'd join so I could partake in some of your forums.
Anyways thank you all in advance for letting me join, and I'll talk to you all in the future!

Heres a quick lesson on ACL.com

look up "o snap it eric" search for his messages on how to quickly alienate yourself and piss off everyone

look up "amirsfardi" for lessons in how to look like a chimp with a socket wrench.

look up "Scalbert" on how to post useful and informative topics

I love my truck. It is really an awesome ride. I picked it because I'm a die-hard Chevy Fan and I thought that the Suburban was too big. It handles great, esp. now with the Sway Bars, and get the larger engine (the Vortec 5300) its got 285hp and 325lb/ft of torque and it pulls. I obviously don't stand a chance against any of you guys (trust me, I've tried) but the truck holds its own. The interior can vary from truck to truck...I've heard about Tahoe owners having build quality issues, so make sure you check out the truck before you buy it...personally, my interior is great.
The '03 is a nice truck, they made some nice improvements for the '03 model year, the one that I really want is Satellite Radio. In terms of the Navi System, I'd say that OnStar would make up for it, but they've been kind of disappointing. They can't constantly monitor where you are when you're moving, so they have to "update your position" and that takes a while. I'm saving up right now for a system for my truck, and I think I'm going to opt for an Alpine Navi system at the same time with a touch screen, b/c it would pay for itself within a month b/c OnStar is so expensive.
I hope this helped...I'll be happy to answer any other questions you have.
ALSO...in response to getting with that girl with the CL-S, I'll try, and of course keep you guys updated!!!

Welcome aboard. I contemplated the 4 door Tahoe before the
TL-S...needless to say I'm not a huge truck person as you can tell.
