So my dad's been in the market for a new car for a long while now....His current ride was a Volvo 740 GLE 1987. It had 175k miles on it and was in pretty bad shape. I mean it was a daily driver and the engine was just not itself. So anyways, my dad works in a not so great area, kinda like the slums so he never really wanted to buy a new car or anything. I recently was trying to get him to buy a TL-s or just a TL because i really think they are great cars! but he said that it would get stolen right away or he would be held up right away. So today he goes to the toyota dealership and after about 4-5 hrs of sitting with him and the salesman, he came out with a new 2002 silver camry xle! At first I was pretty disappointed because an Acura dealership offered us a new TL out the door at 28k!! But after sitting with him and driving it.....it's a really really nice car! Nothing too sporty or anything, but then again he's not looking for sporty right now. Really quiet, and the inside has been designed nicely. I will have some pics tomorrow..

 

Congrats. Well, Toyota's pretty much drive forever so i am sure you will be happy....it's no Acura though j/k
