new exhaust system

I've looking around for a new exhaust system for a couple weeks now and i couldn't decide whether go with catback or axelback. I'm leaning towards the catback probably greddy evo since the comptech catback is kinda expensive what do u guys think?

Well since the exhaust really doesnt add much hp, so im guessing you want to buy it for looks. I think the comptech looks much better than the evo exhaust.

i think the greddy belongs on a civic and im from what ive heard the comptech sounds much better than the greddy

the greddy sounds good and comptech not bad...if you wanted my opinion...id go comptech Bpipe with magnaflow cans for the ultimate in sound and looks and performance

Are you boosted? Why get the cat back unless you are going FI?

Another alternative, is the Greddy Evo B pipe custom welded to the HKS draggers. Blades has that combo on my old CLS, sounds mean.
Price:
HKS: ~ $275-300
Greddy B pipe: Bought for $100

Bought both slightly used in the black market forum.

Just a thought.

thought i'd share...my near future set-up...verycheap i might add.

2xApex-i worldsport style mufflers = $140
custom axle back piping from local muffler shop = $60

the good thing about this is that i can save my stock axle back part of my stock exhaust system and they're interchangable also!

I dunno man...I don't go the replica route when it comes ot performance parts. I've noticed that the replica mufflers tend to wear out a hell of a lot quicker than the ACTUAL brand mufflers.

Neuspeed!!!

Look for another thread about exhausts...someone actually put in the Neuspeed exhaust system for about $600 (and I'm about to purchase one as well) which sounds extreeeeemely nice. They even put pictures/video up for viewing.

I'd say even better than CTs...

he also said that it sounds as loud in the cabin as it does when he rolls the windows down....might be cool for a week but after that I would be ready to go stock again.......plus I have to be pimp. ...not like a fart cannon
