Just some universal mufflers with custom installation. No brand name, but they sound better than the Comptech's I used to have. I have had both Comptech & HKS on my car, but believe it or not these sound better & in my opinion look better.

 

so how is the sound? deep and loud? what brand is the exhaust?

There are companies that make any type of universal style mufflers. I know Magnaflow and Arospeed make some and muffler shops will weld them on.

I had the shop weld on pipes & flanges (just like stock) so I can bolt them on and off without having to bring it back to the shop. Thanks for the compliment

 

How much?

 

$120 for installation. The mufflers were free. One of my co-workers had them from his old car & they were just sitting in his garage collecting dust.

I think it kinda looks like SuperDragers but without the humongous mufflers.

Hey, if you're into fart pipes on a nice sport coupe, have at it. I think it looks dumb but thats MO.

Question on the stock exhaust: it looks like the muffler is not black like the 01's are. Th tip is chrome but the muffler itself looks silver - did you do this or is this an 02/03 change?

the way the tip is rounded at the end just doesent look right. the tip in not straight out, it rounds off. i'm sure it sounds sweet. i'm just giving my .02 what ever floats your boat.

I don't know. Looks the same to me...

 

I guess everyone has their own opinion & you are entitled to it. Personally, the rounded edge was what I liked most about the tips.
I appreciate you taking the time to give your .02, but it doesn't change the way I feel---I still think they look sweet.

BTW: I like your 5Zigens & actually considered getting them, but I didn't want to get the same thing as someone else on this forum. I wanted something unique & different.
