New Corrolla S..Thumbsup for Toyota

Finally Toyota is getting with it. Their new Corolla S actually looks kinda nice!

If you guys saw their commercial, their doing a great job advertising it too.

I think I would take this over a new Civic.

For 14k, i think is a seriuosly good car.

Plus, we all deep down know that Toyota is probably #1 in terms of quality, and reliable cars.

Is it just me or does the front end remind anyone else for the RSX?

Looks pretty sweet though!

You are exactly right about Toyota Quality.

A Toyota is a MUCH better built car than a honda.

They have stronger transmissions than our honda/acuras. Thus they can handle more hp from mods.

They are better, but i think your exxagerating.

The Corolla is a great car for the money, but it'd be a hard decision between that and a Civic.

I'd take a Civic over a Corolla anyday.

Looks like they're trying to get the IS300 look w/ RSX lights. Definite family resemblence. Let me guess, "sport pkg" = body molding? Don't you need cool stickers to make it a true sport package?

I would take the new Corolla over the Civic. TRD will make a lot of mods for it too.

I believe some people here need to define quality!

Not because I am an Acura owner or anything , but Acura does make a better QUALITY car. As far as reliability, looks about a tie.

Durability and longevity will probably go to Toyota. Then again, they have little comparing to the CL-S. Solara TRD maybe! They also discontinued the Supra, of which I was a huge fan, and owned one!

At the track Acura/Honda kicks Toyota's ass!

Better quality as far as what???

I think you're wrong. I can guarantee you that there have been MUCH more problems with the Cl than with a Solara. (PS, I hate the Solara).

No, sorry, I think Toyota is as quality, and reliable as they come. Nobody mentioned this car to be good at the track.

It looks like a mini version of the new Carmy, overall it looks great. If only it had larger rims, it looks like those wheels can't support the car. It may look great with some 16" aftermarket rims or if they had it as an option at the dealer

Yes, very nice looking. It is a family car so I still think it is rather 'soft'. May be it can compare to the Sentra SE-R? Civics are more modifiable and I don't see TRD or Toyota offerring too much aftermarket stuff for a 'family' car.

Definitely look sharp, like the zoom zoom MP3. Good price, practical, economical. The MP3 supposively has a great stereo. The only thing lacking is the zing zing.

reality check - you can't compare toyotas with acura for the simple fact that acura is honda's luxury division just as lexus is toyota's luxury division. That's like saying Lexus is a better built car than a Honda is. Of course it is - it's supposed to be. Now If I were to compare the Lexus line with the Acura line over the past 10 years, sorry guys but I would have to say Lexus has built better quality cars over that time span. At the same time however, I would rather have a civic than a corolla only cause everytime I get stuck behind someone going 50 in a 55 with their turn signal on, it's always a corolla.....

anyways just my opinion

The speedo goes to 110mph.

Now, usually a speedo goes higher than the car can go. So that means this thing probably can't break into triple digits, eh?
