Hello,

I just purchased my first CL-S and I’m looking for some information regarding the seat height. Even with the seat maxed out in its lowest setting, I feel it’s too high… this is just a personal preference issue. I just feel like I’m riding on the car, rather than in it. I’m wondering if anyone is aware of any options that will drop the seat lower? Either oem seats that swap in, replacement lower cushions or aftermarket seat rails that are lower profile. I’m just spit balling ideas here but you get what I’m after. Any help’s appreciated. Cheers

 

You have probably already tried the seat adjustment process below?
In addition, how tall are you.
I only ask because I don't think I have ever seen anyone inquire about this seating difficulty with the CL before.

 

Hey Man, appreciate the response. Yeah, I played with seat adjustments and it’s lowered as low as it will go. Thanks for uploading the pic of the manual showing the process though… purchased the car in Quebec and the manual that came with it is completely French. I found this odd as I figured they would have had a manual with a French and English section. 1 more reason to regret dropping French in grade 9. I’m 6’1, but my desire to be lower has nothing to do with headroom. It’s just a personal preference and I would enjoy being lower in the car is all.

Yeah, my brother is 6'2" & he pretty much fills up the drivers seat, as well, with it set at the lowest point.
