NEW CL-S Owner--got some issues
Sup all,
I just traded in my 2001 pathfinder for a sweet 01' CL-S. So far I love my car and Im already thinking of how I can rice it out--but Ive noticed a few things that annoy me. I wanted to know if other people have noticed this or if its just my car:
1) The moonroof only slides open about 2/3 the way back?
2) The volume when playing the radio is considerably lower than playing a CD?
So is this normal or should I be taking this back to the dealer?
Any info would be appreciated!

The sunroof doesn't slide all the way back. Because the CL is a coupe, the roof isn't as big as a 4-door and we have a decent size sunroof, so it can't go back all the way. Don't know about the radio thing though, just play CD's, and it'll solve the problem.

For future reference, never mention the words rice out and CL in the same sentence, you will enjoy you're stay here much more if you do.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

The volume can be adjusted but it isn't worth the trouble. There's a difference in the different impedances of the radio, tape and CD. They must not be equalized. However, I always remember my radio being louder.

As far as the moonroof goes you may have been spoiled by the one in your Pathfinder.
For whatever reason ours only slides back like 2/3 of the way. ALL CL's do this and its been that way since 2001. Just takes some getting used too.

It will vary from CD to CD, particularly with the ones you burn at home. Not just in the car but at the house, too.
Enjoy the ride.

My radio is a little low than certain CD's. A new one sounds great, but burned ones always depend on the quality of the rip. XM is softer with the RF Modulator, much lower than radio and CD.
