Hey everyone. I am new to this community. I am now a proud owner of an 2001 cls black on black with nav. The car is awsome its quick and handles like a dream. For the most part the car is stock I have tints on it and the front and rear springs have been replaced. I want to start doing some work to the car i want the beef up the stock 260hp I dont know where to start. I dont want to go crazy price wise but for starters I would like to get an air intake on it something to make the car sound really good and add horsepower. Any ideas where to get the parts and what to look for? Thanks so much I Live in CT.

if you want an intake for sound, go with aem, but it doesnt look stock or perform like the icebox intake.

the icebox intake looks stock and is said to pull out a few more ponies but doesnt sound loud at all. maybe a little louder then stock.

for parts, check out c-c-c-.net or comptechs website for starters.

As for that my roomate has a 2003 BMW 745 IL He has the upgraded suspenion with the sport and comfort settings. I have been in my share of bmw's becides that one. Don't get me wrong they do handle great but when it comes down to it it's just a bmw. Anything you can do with that car you can do with a CL. But thats just my thoughts before I went with the CL-S I have now I was looking at a 2002 330Xi Drove them both The cl felt better and was better in the reviews. Anyway thanks for the welcome and I look foward to getting my cl just the way I want.

Saw this thread and thought I'd mention that I'm new here also. Just got my CL last night and am loving it. I've been a member of Team-Integra for years and a member from there suggested I check out this site, so here I am!

Thanks I searched for threads for members in PA and MD but turned up with nothing. I also checked out the Meet forum. It seems as though there are a good number of members in my areas, which is great!
