New CL-S 6spd owner
Hi everyone..just making my first appearance to the CL board. Just recieved my CL-S 6spd.. Traded in my 00 S2000. I know you probably say why..but they have too many problems. If they ever get the bugs out for the new version in 05 i may think about one again.but until then..the torque'g is ON.. Again its nice to be here. Can wait to meet some of you near Wilmington. Oh my CL is the Seaten Blue..or what ever its called..its blue..haha..only one in wilmington .

Nice color. I've got 320 miles on my CLS 6spd (picked it up last Thursday), and I can't wait to get the engine broken in (~600 miles??).
Congrats,

Thank you everyone. The S2k had soo many problems for me..new tranny 3 clutches...and Diff.. My mom told me to get something more practical and that she'd help me out. So I went out to Honda not knowing what else to get. The recommented the Acura CL-S 6spd. So i drove one..it was awesome. Had a silver one all day today. Pic up my car tomorrow morning. They are putting the spoiler on and Sunroof Visor. Now i want to do Springs. Does HR make some...thats all ive every used on my prelude and S. Thanks for all the kick ass welcomes. hope to be at a meet near you soon.

Welcome aboard, too bad about the stook.
According to some people here, believe AztecRol, HR and Koni Yellows is a very good setup. If you got the cash, please go with Tein SS coilovers.

Welcome aboard dude. The S2000 is an awesome car. the only reason I didn't get it was the fact that it's just a bit too impractical, and with some simple bolt on's are cars can TAKE an S2000 on the interstate.

Clutch isnt as fast...on takeup.. On the CL there seems to be a delay from when you take your foot of the clutch.to the time when the power gets to the wheels..very strange..but i love the torque. As far as Wilmington being on I95.we arent on I95..and we dont have bears..we are on the Coast..just north of Myrtle Beach, SC. We are the city that hurricane Fran, Floyde, Bertha and gordon hit.. We are having a tropical storm as we speak. Love the car. took delivery today.

I find the clutch grabs too fast. Obviously OK for hard driving, but for relaxed city driving it is too grabby. I like it when there is no hint that I changed gears (smoother than an auto), and with this clutch you have to be just about perfect to achieve that. As for the delay I am not sure I understand. Shift above 3-4K and it is smooth sailing. But while breaking it in, be nice OK.

Sunroof visor will cut down on the size of the opening which IMO, is too small already. Congrats on your purchase and welcome aboard.
