I was at Best Buy today to talk to them about a new CD player. I have the same problem that everyone has where the CDs always get stuck. I wanted to upgrade to an MP3 player with also a XM radio. I was not too impressed with their selection, but i started talking to their main car installer and he stated that there is a kit to make any deck that is not stock work with the controls on the steering wheel. It costs $50 for the product and $50 to install. I am going to go to every place in town and find out if that is the lowest price. If anyone wants the results i will post them when i am done.

 

i would like the results when u get them, i just hit the side of the cd player really hard when it starts to stick and normally it works

mine always sticks with CD 1 not ne of the other ones

 

Or get an mp3 player for the same price and not have to rip out the radio.

And the adapter he is talking about is the Icelink I believe, maybe search for it.

 

i would do that but i found a jensen CD player that has a 7 inch LCD and can play DVDs for around $450 on ebay.

 

you get what you pay for

 

i have done the research on it. There is no problem with it. It is just that most of the ones you buy come with a navigation system built in and i have that on my laptop
