I THINK IF ITS A SPACER BETWEEN INTAKE MANIFOLD AND THROTTLE BODY ITS A SIMPLE YET GREAT IDEA .BECAUSE WHAT YOUR DOING IS ALLOWING MORE AIR TO ENTER CHAMBERS AT COLDER TEMP BECAUSE YOUR INTAKE AND MANIFOLD ARE SEPERATED BY THIS PLATE.YOU GUS TELL ME WHAT YA THINK OH I FORGOT TO POST THE WORK I HAD DONE,COMPTECH HEADERS,MUFFLERS,AND XEPHYR CAI,CUSTOM CHROME WHEELS ON 235/40/17 TOYOS PROXIES T1-S.

Umm sorry but your mods do not add up to 325hp at the crank,
let alone at the wheels.
Comptech headers 32 hp max
Comptech Mufflers 2-4 hp
AEM CAI 10-12 hp
Welcome to the board, that mod sounds feasible, how many hp do u think will be gained from it?

he's close headers are 30 at wheels meaning 38 at crank...cai 12-15 at crank exhaust 5...you do the math

no one has ever gotten 5 hp from the comptech or any aftermarket exhaust, MikeB claims 4 hp max
Comptech dyno http://www.comptechusa.com/cgi-bin/f...orum=3&topic=8 shows a max hp of 232 hp at the wheels with headers and 208 hp at the wheels stock for a 24 hp increase at the wheels with headers. The only guys who have dynoed 30 hp at the wheels had low stock dyno hp (much less than 208 hp)http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...highlight=3.5L , the only member who had a stock dyno close to Comptech's was Type S Smokes All who had 207 hp at stock and when he put on headers he got less than 25 extra hp to the wheels http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...highlight=dyno . Everyone is claiming all this hp, if you recall when Doug (syncivic) was touting his 3.5L TypeS's they were only 315hp at the crank which included headers http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=35744 (haha I reread the post and you did not believe the 'existence' of a 3.5L TypeS).. so no one has close to 325 hp with only headers, CAI, and exhaust.
