I got this new bumper becaue my local acura dealer pulled my original bumper off while going on an alignment rack that was too high. I went to pick up my car today, the first thing I notice was that it looks different. I notice they painted some areas that they won't surpose to. I look at it for a few minutes and decided I like it so I too the car home. What do you guys think?

Yep I really like the look of that painted. My car is black so it doesn't matter anyways. If my car were any other color I'd have the black unpainted areas color matched.

prob. paint would be cheaper unless you find someone to switch bumpers with you....which is highly unlikely. just paint it.

BTW i really like that your car is lookin better everytime i see it on this forum

in the fourth picture, is your CF hood messed up in the front or is it the angle of the shot. I wanted to buy one but if thats the result down the road, i will think twice about it. hoping its the angle of the shot

My Carbon fiber hood is in the garage. I installed the original hood so i can tell if the new bumper paint is different. m&b6speed, that white area in the front is just reflexsion.

Darrin look at the plastic portion, in the 03's the vertical posts and part of the lower grill is painted, in the 01-02 they are not. Minor difference, but imo it looks better painted.

When someone backed into my front end and I had to have it replaced. Mine turned out the same, it was painted in those areas too. I just thought the shop was nice and did it or didn't know what was supposed to be painted. It might just of been an 03 bumper. I didn't know they came painted that way. I have black and I like it better also, but people who do have colored cars, it makes it look alot better.
