i like the new banner.....very good idea, if its not too much trouble, maybe you could change it up once a month or something?

 

Yea I like the look, but I wouldn't know it was a CL from that shot. If you cropped it so the tailights would look like an 01 or an 03, the rims give it away anyway. It looks like the gold color CLP.

 

I love the lighting on that picture. Where was it taken and who's car?

 

i have some great shots of my car that i'd love to see as a banner

 

That's mine, it was taken at about 10pm in a park parking lot. The lighting is from a very bright pole light in the park.

 

OK, here's a suggestion for soopa or any other admins...
Since everyone likes the banner and more than one person has asked for a new one every once in a while, how about having people submit pictures in pre-determined dimensions (eg: 1280x150 px) and then have a script that whenever a page loads, it'll pick from one of the banners at random.

Since the picture is really just the background of a table cell, people don't need to worry about the "Acura-CL.com" logo or any of the links along the bottom of it. That way, the admins keep the look & feel, while allowing for people to show off their cars!

You're already using PHP to render the pages, so they're already dynamic. It'd just be one more script. If it was a JSP I'd volunteer to do it but I know jack shit about PHP.

I like the new look, but it doesn’t “center up” on my screen.
The picture is over to the LEFT of the screen and then I see the front wheel again on the RIGHT.

What’s up with DAT ???
