welcome to acurazine!

to post pics, you first must host them on a picture site like photobucket. then they will give you a link that looks like but without the spaces. just paste that link into your post.

btw, are you twins with CL-S progression 01? haha

Welcome to the forum man! Def get those pics up, you've got us all in suspense. Make sure to list any thing you know is aftermarket on the car. Don't be afraid to ask questions after you do a decent search. Spend some time looking around the forum and congrats on the purchase!

...

wow wasn't expecting that many replies. lol ok cool i guess im going to create a photo bucket thing so i can get some pics up. got the car with 75000 miles on it and the car is clean in and out. as of mods nothing is done as of yet. my previous car was a lt1 firebird. nice car, not too reliable though, thats why i got the cl!! love the car so far. and progression as my name, did not know another member had that name ....my bad oops. but as of mods of course the first few would be the intake etc. but if i were to get the mdx spacer would i have clearance issues? i dont mind cutting up the inside of the hood. but i dont want to have to raise the hood with extra bolts washers etc

instead we get POS slush-o-matics, but otherwise the cl is very reliable (and headlight ballests like to go too, but the car is still driveable though)

but anyways WELCOME!!!

I here on the cops and gas

But I hate camaros except the first gen and the new one but I heard they were coming out with a new Trans am and I like it way more than the new camaro

Its like when I see my wife drive my trans am,I hate to see it go, but I love to watch it leave ( and not pay for the gas) LOL

Other than that they are exactly the same, can swap anything between them, so enjoy the BM!

theres more then that for the exterior. color matched door handles, smaller side mirrors and rolled chrome exhaust tips as well.

as for the interior, On-Star becomes part of the navi package along with a 6 speed manual option, heated seats are now automatically temperature controlled, floor mats now say 3.2CL instead of ACURA and different wheel design for both the CL-P and Type-S models.

its basically 3 tranny fluid changes in 1 day.
drain and refill with 3 qts of Z1-ATF or compatable fluid.
drive for a short period, making sure to hit all 5 gears and reverse, also make all the shifts from P-R, R-N, N-D, then reverse the order and anything in between.
and repeat again another time and another time.

yes thats the real way to do it. I can only imagine how most DLRs change the fluid when u ask for a tranny fluid change.

yikes

Welcome!

Be sure to check out the FAQ and always use the search function, even though it doesn work too well. You yield better results when you use quotes though.

So whats your first mod going to be?

first mod???? ha i got this all planned out already

i want to do things right on this car, i already have this all planned out haha. Headers along with 3rd muffler(resonator) removal. Then thermogaskets and odyssey spacer along with port matching it. Then intake and oil catch can. Then port my throttle body(or get better one?) along with coolant bypass. Then hopefully get the 09 tl intake manifold. Then save up $$$ and get the odyssey crankshaft and rl pistons along with pulleys <--- that will be a while from now though.. any opinions? any other mods for performance without turbo or nitrous?
