i went to the houston grand prix tonight (the american le mans series) and the guy that was announcing spoke of a "new" acura car that will be announced this season that will participate hopefully in next years race seaon. its supposedly the best kept secret of the season. there were acura marketing exec's all over the place at the track scoping out the scene and seeing if it was something they wanted to be involved in.


is this the new break for the acura coupe market we have been looking for!?!

i seriouly doubt they would introduce a "secret" nsx seeing as how that model will be discontinued as we all have probably heard, and there are already many different race versions of the NSX. they also specifically said it was a "brand new top secret car"

im not sure when they said it would be announced but this alone seems like good news for us looking for a new acura coupe.

word ^. there are already pics of the le mans car and the engine as well..and the NSX isnt being discontinued..its being re-released in 2008 or 2009 with both a V10 version and a V8 version as well with two different price tags, 100k and 70k respectively.

 

yeah the NSX is classic and the most beautiful car under the Acura name. You can't discontinue something like that.
