New To Acura

I am in the market for a CL and have found one I like. The vehicle is a 2003 auto, Not a type s, with 22k miles. I can probutbly get the car for 17k - 18k. Is this a good deal? Also I am a little concerned about the transmission as I am sure you have heard a million times. Are the 2003's less prone for the transmission failure? This would be my first Acura so your assistance is greatly appreciated.

The 2003 CL-S 6speed MT don't have the transmission problems you have referred to and you can get one of those for probably just a little bit more than the non type S you described. I think you should just forget about 2003 auto and look for the 6MT the auto still has the transmission problems.
