Is the new Accord Coupe a sign of what a future CL may look like?

Stopped to see a 2008 Accord Coupe v6. Damn I was quite impressed with what Honda came up with. The styling is awesome as was the interior. My only gripes were lack of HID, the seats are not like our CL seats with that wrap around with great lumbar and they dont have the auto feature when u fold it up to get access to the rear seats. One can only hope that this is what the possible rumored return of a CL would look like. Beleive me, the pics on the web do it no justice, looks 1000 times better in person.

Just for shits and giggles I asked about a 3yr lease and they said mid 400's. The only reason I can think as to why so much is the fact that it is a redesign and there is no way to figure what the residules would be. 450/month for a honda? I told the guy I can take advantage of Acuras special with the TL for around $100 less per month.

Even though Honda out did themselves with this one......its still a honda accord at the end of the day lol

^ Acura nameplate snob

Lets face it, besides those few specialty luxuries, the Accord is just as well appointed as an Acura TL. Unfortunately you're the 100th person to speculate on a new CL that doesn't exist and probably wont be happening anytime soon, so you might as well join the dark side and get yourself a new Accord. Of course I am biased now because...

<------ Now owns Accord

Agree......Back when I bought my 01', and went in for service around 04', the manager told me that there would be an 09' model CL re-released in a hard-top retractable. But yet to be seen or even heard of.

That would be the closest current CL replacement.

This has been covered in many threads. There's a good one in car talk.
