A new 5-speed '00 maxima got to ride with me....
We had a small party yesterday at home, a firend who just bought his second maxima, '00 5-speed, base model...
I was talking about my CAI and he asked does it make a differnce, I said yep, do you like a ride? he said why not...
It was a bit around 10:00 PM, I pluged my V1, here we go just off the ramp, floor it in D5 and I was doing 95!, He asked with a big grin what this VROOM VROOM VROOM VROOM sound coming from, I smiled and said something called VTEC is making this sound.. I was bit chocked that maximas do not have similar growl..
Joined the HW and I was cruising at 90, he was more impressed how deceptivle slow (or fast) at those speeds... 90-100 is same as 55-65.
Back home he was impressed that the CLS is bit of a sleeper, deceptively feels slow at high speeds.
And yeah, he was buging me to sell him my stock CLS rims and tires, he was bery interested and we did not know if the fit on a maxima.. so he will find out and make an offer.

5x114.3 is the size for the Maxima's bolt pattern..
Now the question is the center hub...I am not sure what the size is, or the size on yours.
What I would also like to recommend, is he look for some GS400 wheels. Some maxima owners have installed these, and they look awesome. The only thing you must change is the hub center needs to be machined and made bigger to match the Maximas.
