New 2003 CL-S 6sp! What to do next?

It attracts very little attention when you have the key.
The immobilizer is easily removed. Theres a product on the market specifically for it.
They put it out in the open so cops and inspectors can see it quickly.

So would it be a problem with cops if I put "duct tape" over it?

Shouldnt. If they question you about it, explain the situation.
Very rarely do cops even look at it anyway.

Wouldn't cops only check for your VIN if there was a CL Type S reported stolen? Like if they were scoping out to see if they can find the car?

I knew some people from Cali that got cited while parked at a meet (a few years ago, Civic and Integras). The cops checked every VIN on the car. If it didnt match, youre werent going home with your car
But again, thats Cali, and the cops are pricks.

Thanks, I did think that whole 5W-20 issue had to do with fuel economy and CAFE, rather than with engine design.
Forgive my ignorance but aren't 01-02 type S engines identical to 03 S?.
As far as transmission oil goes, are Honda and GM stuff synthetic or dyno? I don't point of saving money there since you only change it once in a few years.

I actually use german castrol which is 0w20. I've used many types of oils from redline, royal purple, eneos, motul, etc. You name it, I've tried it. German castrol is by far the best of the best right now. It's used by just about every road racer, LS1 guys, and most high hp guys out there. I have heard that really high compression motors should not use GC or boosted cars that run a lot of boost and since our motors don't have a very high CR, I've been using it ever since.
For the leather I use lexol.

Depends on the cop, really. And what he pulled you over for. Most dont. But if youre suspicious, they could check it. But its a very slim chance.
