I don't think its anything to worry about. I don't think it even will make that big of a difference.

Our cars are luxo cruisers dude, not Type R's.

Scooter,

If you want to minimize body lean, a set of springs or sways is much better than the Tie Bar. Get those instead.

I guess You might be able to tell a difference if your in the Twisties ALL the Time, but IMO it's Mostly for Show. It looks good: Nice Shiny Black with NeuSpeed in Yellow.

i am in the process of affording the sways...i'm not considering the springs b/c i like mine, and i don't want warranty issues...i think the sways and upperstrut bar are good enough for now.

i ordered from carparts and got it only a week later than expected which isn't too bad, and i only had to pay $80.

but then again, i had the patience because i can't install it (see sig.) until next week anyway (got it about a month ago).

I also placed an order with Carparts.com for the strut bar just yesterday for like $92 including shipping. I still don't have an expected ship date listed yet though. When I placed the order, it said the part would ship in about 7-10 business days but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

you guys ordered it from carparts? or jcwhitney or whatever they're called?

'cuz last i remembered, they joined with jcwhitney...which means you'll probably get it when expected and not get screwed around like what happened to some people here.

i got it while it was still carparts.com and had a coupon for 20% off anything over $100 or something and free shipping from importhookups.com (i think), so it came out to $80 and change.

Scooter,

I feel your pain, but, FYI, it took a few weeks to get mine from Carparts.com, so chill. Attention K-Mart shoppers: if its your first order from them, make sure that you get yourself the 30% "First time shoppers" discount--the bar will only cost $80+ shipping--if you read the website verbiage carefully before you order.

The difference in handling with the stut tie bar installed is modest, but noticeable. FDao is correct about springs and sways in controlling body roll, but handling is all about an integrated solution. Really good shocks (like Koni yellow's) make an incredible difference in cornering. Springs do help to a degree, but after a point, they are really cosmetic. However, I digress. For some reason, my Neuspeed bar arrived in a chrome finish. (I had expected black - go figure.) It's a lil' bit pimp, but I kinda like it now.

i agree.... i think the reason people dont feel that much of a differnce is cuz they have the sways installed first... i just installed my strut bar and i noitced a differnce!! I dont have the sways yet.. maybe thats why, but it sure it help, it feels soild on turns.

Could it be that the body roll is still there but the turn-in is improved that the car reacts better in corners?

well sports fans, for all those who want to know how much longer to get the next shipment, it's gonna take about another 4 friggin weeks...what pisses me off so much is 1, i was told by the 15th of this month (i ordered at the end of last month), and of course that promise looks to b broken (just like my CAI and PIAA's), and 2, i paid max for it ($120 or something close) b/c the guys at Neuspeed informed me that it takes another week for them to ship to Carparts.com, so i ordered direct...so right now, i'm feelin a little like Leo Gets...they fuk u at the drive-through, ok? well, now they fuk u at the website..they know u're gonna b at a hundred sites later before u realize u got fuked

Ordered directly from Neuspeed, they do not give discounts so paid 119. Installed after rest of suspension and really feel like it polished off the handling!
