need tire advice

Okay guys need help. I am on a budget so it is pretty much down to 2 of them .
Either the kumhos 712 or the Sumitomo HTZ II . Any recommendations on sizes, I figured I would go with 235/45-17 since those seem to best match the stock size. Doesn anyone have pictures with these on there. I remember someone saying that the 235 stick out a little firther than the factory ones.

235/45 is taller than the 225/45 which only create a 1-2% error on the speedo. As you can see in my sig, I opted for the Kumho 712s in that size. I love 'em.

Dunlop SP9000's..they are Excellent in the dry, EXCELLENT in the rain...There is better dry performing tires out there, but wet handling sucks...this offeres a good compromise of both..

Actually the 235's are closer to spec than the 225's. The error for the 235's is -0.5%, while the 225's have a difference of -1.9%.

what's the warranty issue with 235s? i heard that some manufacturer's will void the warranty on 7.0" rims.

Truly? Well that would be unfortunate as I also plan to have the 235mm size eventually on my car. Being Comptech lowered I am trying to be very careful about rubbing issues and now you mention a possible warranty snafu with using this size tire. Since I do not run on the stock rims I wonder what Acura's postion would be if in fact there is a warranty issue.
