wit the tint film it will be an equally spread tint, it will also shine alot better than the spray. another plus is that the film will be alot easier to remove if you had to or didnt like the way it looked.
im hoping to contribute to this soon. as i am waiting for my taillight tint to come in. but there should be more pics in the photography thread. I specifically remember the guy with custom body kit and 19/20" rims. forgot his screenname but his tails are tinted too. there are lots of threads on this too.

yes u can. the lights look brighter and more distinct when u hit the brakes. instead of a small yellow bulb flashing, u see the whole triangular piece light up yellow. and the red is a lot deeper.

i did several. dont remember how many bc it was about 3 years ago, and its still holding up good. 2 chicago winters and 3 summers. i think it was around 5-7 coats. i stopped when i thought it was dark enough. make sure that u use degreaser to clean the lens off.

The vinyl tint is not molded, and its a bitch to put on. I tried doing it and failed miserably.

I just got off the phone I called every autoparts place in ottawa canada and no has that VHT night shade stuff they all say its on order one guy siad its been on order for like 3 month so its not looking good for me

I even called a couple of paint suppliers in my area with no luck I was hoping to get a can of clear with a couple drops of NBP in it to match my car that would look sick

Anways the paint suppliers talk to me like im stupid "no we dont do that, bye" I was like fucckkkk you

Anyways not looking good for me I may have to drive to the usa (where they know how custimize cars) a smuggle some nite shades over we will see

FYI, if you get VHT nightshades you should REALLY look into getting it clear-coated. Or else it looks like doo-doo. My friends did it to both their Tc's and 350z's and it came out rough and patchy even with a ridiculous amount of sanding and polishing. They ended up taking it to their paint guy and had it clearcoated, now it looks baller.

You could always go to the dealership and have them spray a light shade of black with some clear over the area of your choice. One of the members here (Mister_TL i believe) had that done for like $50 and it looks great.

I hate saying this, but you have to find a shady body shop to do it. Here in VA alot of places told me they wouldnt do it, saying it was illegal. I know a guy back in NY that will do it, but that requires me giving him my tails for a few days, and this is my daily.
