Need some new struts and/or coilovers

Ok, these Eibach pro-kit springs have worn out the stock struts and it's pissing me off. It's like a Flintstones car now! I had Eibach's on my Maxima with stock struts and they did fine. So only about 10K miles on the CL-S and they're shot.
What do you guys recommend for the 03 CL-S as far as struts go, or if going to coil-overs is an option? Some brand names and approximate prices would be great! Thanks.

The Eibach springs are like 30% stiffer than stock so that's why your shocks went out. You could always get konis, kyb, or tockicos are replacement aftermarket shocks. I would recommend coilovers.

thanks for the info, yes, definitely spending less than $1K. With the Teins, I haven't seen a specific application for the CL-S. Is there or do people just use the Accord application?

I just put on CT springs/sways using the stock shocks. At 15k miles, I'm thinking of going with Konis. How much stiffer/harsher of a ride can I expect using Konis instead of stock shocks? Also, which Konis are closest to stock shocks but are adjustable to be made stiffer?

thanks,
-g

They only have one adjustable which are the yellows, they valve it per application.

Koni yellows 5-way adjustable with Comptech sport springs and Comptech swaybars are sort of your generic suspension upgrades that put the TypeS where it should be suspension-wise from the factory.

If you want adjustable ride height, you need to get coilovers. Tein SS are excellent except for bottoming out very easily, but Tein offers higher-rate springs as well as being able to revalve the struts for you as well.

it's the same part number for the AV6/TL/CL. the only real option to attempt to offset the addit weight the Cl has over the AV6 is by upgrading the springs, which are offered for about $40/$50 per corner. I started a string about what TEIN was/was not doing wrt the CL-S specific application, and even asked Eric L to contact TEIN after I spoke to them because of inconsistent responses from the two Japanese/American lads who answered the phone. I have recently re-sent an email to both TEIN USA and the home office in Japan questioning the consistently inconsistent responses from these two kids, since they don't seem to be speaking from the same sheet of music, and the answers they provided to me on the phone (2x), via e-mail, and to Eric were never the same.
