need some help and insight

Ok.... yesterday the weather was crapy in Baltimore, snow and ice, long story short i was going no more that 10mph when i hit a curb. I bounced off the curb and after i was done yelling profanity at the top of my sh*t I got out to check the damage. My wheels are jacked front and back, and the wheels is deff. out of wack. Next thing i notice is that the steering wheels is hard to turn like NON power steering. I manage to get it to my shop but its making a skipping noise cumming from the RT front impact spot.

I let the mechanic look at her and he doesn't see anything wrong with any parts but he said the skipping COULD be the steering rack, But he can't tell. Now i don't know what to do. A steering rack is like 350+ and install.

I wanted to see if anyone has had this happen to them and what the outcome was or can give me some insight. Thanks

I did that a few weeks ago on a snowy curve, my front right wheel slide into the curb and I bounced back into the street but my only problem was a small scuff mark on the wheel.

Dam your lucky. I told the mechanic to drive it down the road to get a better feel for the problem, I hope its not the rack

damn, that must have been a hard hit. i agree, buy the parts and let a good private shop replace it for you if you can't do it yourself

same shit happened to my sisters 99 tl-p in the rain. there was a VERY noticeable gap between the front of the fender and the tire, and a very very very very small one between the tire and the back of the fender. she had the same problem, couldn't make U turns and all that stuff. shop charged us an arm and a leg for new axel, lower control arm, new rim cause she cracked hers, and extra misc stuff.

so on the brighter side of things, it couldve been A LOT worse buddy.
