Firstly, there are instructions with the unit that should help you out with this. For the power and ground tap in near the dash where the parking lights turn on so that the gauges light up when the parking lights come on.

1. You need to get a fuel pressure source on the vehicle and then run the wires to the gauge.

2. An electric boost gauge? Why not mechanical. Just tee of a vacuum sources and then run the other end to the gauge.

i was told the electrical boost gauge is more accurate....if i tap into the parking lights only wont they only come on when the parking lights are on??

thanks very much for the help!!!

2. i tee the boost gauge where the line connects to the intake off the cirular device that adds the boost correct?

1. the fp gauge gets hooked up after the fuel pressure riser from comptech with a 90 fitting and adapter.... right??

thanks guys!!

You''ll have no problem with the electric boost gauge, I have one and enjoy the features it offers, tell tale peak of boost, and you can also set a max boost that will illuminate when you excede it.

Look to the instructions as it says it needs an uninterupted source of power once the key is turned on. You cannot tap into a power source that will loose power to the unit while cranking the car. This is needed to calibrate the gauge each and every time you put power to it. If you start your car and notice other systems shut down or dim while cranking, this is what I'm referring to.

Some people have had sucess with an accessory outlet on the power distribution panal under the dash, I had limited sucess as it would not set the gauge to "zero" everytime I put power to it.

The solution is to find the thick yellow/black wire that goes to the ignition switch. You cant miss it as it comes off that distribution block. It is the thickess one there. Splice into this wire and your good to go. Good Luck.

I was referring to the power/ground for the lights in the gauges, not the actual function of the gauge.
