Has anybody had to replace the plastic trim piece under the hood that covers the radiator and stuff??? A budy of mine's broke and he called acura and they said it $435 to replace it??????????? Can that be right???? Seems a bit much for a plastic trim piece under the hood. Please let know if anybody knows the answer. Thanks!

 

Its' called a bulkhead cover. Often referred as the core support cover. For a 3.0 CL I'm guessing?

 

Actually no it's a buddy's 01 CL-S. Sorry forgot to mention that!

 

it is just a $30 piece... This is what I paid for at the dealer.

Why would it cost $435? 20 parts + 1/2 hour labor. ($820/hr labor) You should just do it yourself.

 

i accidently broke it when i was installing my headers

went to the dealership and DEMAND that they fix it ASAP.

i told them i just doing a routine check up on my engine and when i closed the hood the thing broke off.

NO CHARGE
