need option on AWD car

I was talking with my soon-to-be brother in law. and he said Derek(that's me) I know how you drive(he occassionally takes a ride in my trusty Honda) and I know you like to "push" the car hard through corners. I said "true" I said I'd go with another Honda but you can't push them through corners like a WRX or new VW Golf R32. plus on snow AWD a little safer than Front wheel drive. QUALITY IS A BIG ISSUE TO ME!!!

so my 3 options(as for now)(i'm not getting the car for awhile) but I'd like to read up and get information and take a test drive of them.

#1. WRX Sti-good proven car in Rally racing. but putting 300 HP out of "high strung" 4-cylinder makes me worry about it holding up awhile. Has TONS of mods for it. I don't know much about the "flat" motors That has me a little worried

#2. EVO 8- read March's car and driver which had a big write up on it but once again I'm worried about that much HP going through a 4-cylinder if it will hold up for the long haul. Another thing that makes me worried about Mitsu is it's part own by the wonderful company Dodge(which Dodge sucks donkey balls if you ask me) but I read where this car produced in Japan so I think Japan would have better quality thanks to NO UNION

#3. VW Golf R32- This is the one I like the best of the 3. it's a 2 door hatchback design(thing of a Civic Si but 10 times meaner )
I've heard of VW cars on the road 200-300 K and still have good compression. plus with VW's internal you can run 15-20 lbs of boost on stock parts. It's produced in Germany.

what do you guys think
thanks

#1 WRX Sti 300 HP,

How about those:
1) Volvo S60R.. no more 4 Cylinders worries. It's 5 Cylinders
2) The new S4... V-8 Baby...

I'm actually looking at the Volvo V70 'R' for 2004. All the luxury of the CL and more, 300 HP, AWD, active suspension .. COMES from the factory with 16" aluminum Brembos all around .. and its a wagon! Talk about a sleeper! The CL is fun but not very utilitariin for me .. definately not dog friendly .. my Rotty is gettin too big for the so-called "back seat". If you got the $$ look at the Volvos!!

Editor of European Car did a piece on the R32 this past weekend on Street 2NR ... very favorable review. Something to think about.
