need opinion -Bra

I'm thinking about getting a bra for my black CLS, I don't want the front paint to get chiped. what do you guys think? I would rather have the clear bra but can't find anyone in my area to install it.

Since I'm in FL too, I think it's a must have item. I use mine when ever I go on long trips, like the 3 hour drive to Orlando, or to Key West. FL is just horriable with all the bugs that splat all over your car. I do not keep it on though. I only use it for trips.

i have it and used for my drive from pa to tx and then back. it's a definite must have if you plan on doing road trips.

and for installation, if you follow the instructions provided TO THE 'T', it's easy to install.

I have the bra also for my 2002, but I only use the nose part for the hood. Real easy to put on and take off. Well worth it. I waited one trip to long to get it and now I have two chips on my hood. I think it is a must have but I just really dont' like the car looks with the full bra on.

Bra's scratch paint, especially black. I had one on my old car, factory bra too, and it scratched where it ended from the wind, I also took it off once a week to wash it and the car. Get stongard or x-pel, they are a clear bra and protect much better.

I would get the clear bra in a sec, just can't find anyone around north Fla that can install it, and I don't want to try it myself. Anyone else had problems with a regular bra scraching the paint, I have black so it is a concern.

Don't get a bra.

None of them are SOOO tight that they won't rub against the paint and produce some ugly scratches...

I put just the hood piece of the bra on and it has helped. Obviously there are some "pimples" on the bumper, but it's plastic and seems a little stonger then the hood. Anyway, I like it...it's quick on and off, looks good, and does a job. I haven't had any problems with scratching either. I only install it when the car is clean, and I also make sure the inside of the bra itself it clean. Pics on my site if you're interested.....

I know in GA there is a installer. go to www.stongardgeorgia.com and email David, he can help you out with installer issues. I didn't have one either but he told me how easy it was to install and I did it. It came out perfect. www.x-pel.com does it as well and they should have someone in FL somewhere.
