Now that a good amount of you have seen my car at PAA... I need some advice as to what to do next... I have 2 options in mind to continue to spruce up my 1st gen...

do you think I should:

a) try and get more go out of her...
Comptech SC, Exhaust, and more engine mods...

b) go strictly show with her...
Air cylinder suspension, 12 pak strobes (frnt, rear, under)
try and find a way to make or cover the original hood
with Carbon fiber and paint the rims anthrocyte....


The mods either way should equal each other out...
What would you do if it were your car... and SELLING IT or BURNING IT is not an option fellas!!!

Mos def go with option 2, looking good never got you killed or tickets. well..... at least most of the time.

 

see thats what i was thinking.. the only problem I have is learning to tame my reckless driving habits after al;l si said and done and my car doesnt handle as well.... but then again driving next to some of these guys going to D&B after PAA.. Im starting to think i drive like an old man!!!

 

I agree with Ern.... I'd say option 2.

It seems that you're going the show route anyway. I mean, you drove all the way to FL for a show, so obvious it's something you enjoy. I think to compliment the stereo and other work done on the car you should go the full show route. Then, down the road, you can add some bolt-ons for a little bit of pep... but nothing crazy (or expensive) like the SC......

 

bro, I think both of those options are gonna give you problems in the future, but the engine modds will be harder to fix. The suspension will look good from a standstill and can be easier to repair than a blown engine or something. Then you'll have an easy excuse on why I dusted your ass in a race.

Of the 2 options go with option 2. You don't need the tickets, you get pulled over enough as is, why run the risk of doubling the amount of times?
