OK, I am f-ing sick of my new comptech springs. Every bump I hit there are noises from the front - probably an installation problem. I have taken it back to mechanic 2x who tells me is it normal. Bull. Right now I am looking for someone that knows how to lower a CL-S and is somewhere in FL. Prefer Palm Beach, Broward, Dade, Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota counties, but will travel to have this f-ing problem fixed.

Since they're comptech springs, couldn't you just bring it to acura? There's one on Federal near Copans.

btw... a few of us live in palm beach county, i live in boca raton... I'm headin up to Moroso this Friday, as are some other guys from south fl (obviously).

I live in Naples and could bring it to Acura here as well. I was just thinking that maybe someone knew a mechanic that was better than taking the car to the dealer. BTW I used to live in Boca. Street Rods & Classics did a bunch of work on my Vette.

There's a member on here Juker008, he lives a little North of Boca, and he's got a mechanic he uses that lives in the pompano area, i'll repost this afternoon after calling him.

Sounds like a possible problem with the INSTALL, not the springs.

Everyone here likes to bitch about dealer labor rates, but usually when you hear about a problem like this it was an install done by a shop that doesn’t know how to properly install them.

Oh, I totally think it is the install. I am not even bitching about the price - I just want them fixed at this point. It is real annoying to hit a small bump and hear the car/suspension/whatever making noises - especially on a car with 2k on it.

Not sure if they would do a good job on springs, but the guys at Margate Mobil are great.(441 & Copans rd) Friends of mine, I get all my work done there. Just haven't done springs. From reading on the boards, sounds like the little rubber sleaves that are supposed to be around the bottom of the springs, weren't installed. This would make the springs noisy.

I thought the rubber stuff was only on the rear springs??? And yes it is on the rear ones.
