Need input from SC guy.

Hi, guys.... I just finish install the SC on J35 and everything run smooth and car really pull hard, I just love it but I have some question about my ride,

1. It's normal if I start the car is take longer then usual when N/A but when only cold?
2. I have plan to put intercooler on it, it's ok if I put the throttle body after the SC, which mean on manifold not on SC?
3. What kind injector I can use to upgrade ? If possible plug n play.

I think that's what I have right now, thanks guys for the respond and time.

1. not sure.
2. you can't put the throttle body somewhere else. It has to go before the blower so it can regulate how much air goes in.
3. ap1 S2000 injectors are a direct fit. RDX injectors require some modification to fit. There's a diy on the TL side for that.

You don't need to move the throttle to run a blow off valve, just check out this CL he is running a front mount intercooler & BLOV...

Here is a link to the rest of his build...

Ok guys.. I just finish install the all gauges, oil pressure, fuel pressure and boost. But lately I notice the bosst gauge not showing I got boost from SC,the neddle just run between 0 to 20igh,which mean on vacuum area, never over 0 to showing I got the boost even my rpm already at 3500.

It's normal condition like this for the SC?
When the SC start to spull,at what rpm? What should I do?

Btw I already use 7lb pulley for the SC. Thanks guys

I've Heard The Comptech Supercharger Does Not flow Enough Air For A 3.5L. But No One Has Confirmed That. My boost Gauge starts To Show Around 3k Rpm. Can You Feel The Power?

Correct gnuts. Paul told me that when I first got my blower and he rebuilt it. If you research the eaton mp60, which is the one comptech uses, it says on their website it's for up to a 3.0. We are already at 3.2 and now you're 3.5. I'm not too technical on the blowers but I would imagine given the size of the blower it can only handle so much before it peaks out on its induction. Hence why Paul built the custom m90 blowers. There is a member who had one here also and he took before and after pics, huge dif in blower size pertaining to air volume. Anyhow good luck but I would not pursue it much longer without some advice from someone who knows the specifics. That's why I bought a bolt on kit!

Yeah you right gnuts..after 3k rpm I can feel and show the boost on my gauge..if no body confirm that bc mat be not right or may be depend on the pulley... gnuts what pulley do you use? 4lb or 7lb.
May be I will try to use my 10lb pulley to make sure I got the boost but I was thinking to malfunction the by pass boost beside the blower to make quick boost but I scare will break the blower.

I'm On The Standard 3.5 Psi Pulley. I Have The 6 Psi Pulley But Haven't Put It On. The Higher The Psi The Harder The Blower Is Working, So The Air Is Getting Hotter. Just Keep That In Mind.

I knew that dude...that's way I will not use 10lb pulley until I build my intercooler, I just wonder I use 7lb pulley but didn't showing on my gauge... Do you use boost gauge gnuts? It's showing on gauge? What do you think if I malfunction the boost bypass valve beside the blower? Is't will break the SC?

I "was" using a 7lb pulley, but it only read 6lbs on my boost gauge at high rpm... South Florida Pulley made the max boost pulley for me; rated at +/- 9 to 10lbs.

Pleasure!

I'm running the stock blower (MP62). I posted a link earlier for the retrofitment of 62 to 90 thread; you should check it out if you're going that route.

In regards to the injectors - yes, it's PnP....If i'm correct, I believe the S2K's are bigger than the J35's, although I'm unsure of the cc's?

Terry from SFP is super cool; it actually took less than four weeks to ship.

I was interest to take that route, swap blower to m90 but that cost me more money but may be in the feature,

Yeah man, Terry is awesome guy, it took only 2 and half week to make the pulley for me.

Btw, now you use 10lb pulley, any difference? Are you done with FMIC on ur car, how was the feel, how much boost do you lose bc use FMIC? Thanks

The car is still under construction.. we just put on lighter crank & powersteering pulley, new clutch, short shifter, axles, rack & pinion, and a list of items for this build. Once it's all installed, it's off to the dyno for tuning. The guys at the shop have bets amongst each other as to how much it'll put down lol - time will tell

I will tell you this - if you're serious about going through this, it's one heck of a ride as far as cost and vehicle down time... BUT... you'd better believe it will be worth it once it's all done!

Yeah I try to find the light crank pulley but is hard to find... I still try figure out, what should I do,my next step, to install A/F ratio gauge and make custom intercooler....lately I push the car to know how much boost I can get... I get 4lb boost on 4500 rpm, it's feel scare when the boost kick in on 4th gear and I already over 120mph.... That's right man... I had been build this long time and I will keep going but beside that...this's my daily drive,so I don't want to extrame racing car...alright let me know if your ride is done.. Btw what kind computer do you use?
