Anyone know how many horses this thing generates and whether or not its safe for a 2001 cls. I was also wondering if it will void the warrenty or not.

 

it doesnt generate hp, but with the right tuning you can gain hp with the right mods by messing with the air/fuel ratio.. but you got to rememebr that you need someone experienced enough to tune the vafc or it will be worhtless

 

and you need to tune it on the dyno to get good gains out of it

 

It probably will void the warranty, but not the entire warranty. Just the section related to the ECU, I would imagine.


It's safe for any car with VTEC. You have to get the car dyno'ed after installation, and by looking at your air/fuel mixture ratio, you have to tune it. You could have a shop do it or you can do it yourself.
