Need help rim with size please
I found a set I love. The best size I can get is 8.5" wide with 43mm offset - 18"
Will this work with a 235/245 sized tire?
The rim shop says put a 7.5" rim for my car.
What should I do?
Thanks

I run a 17 x 8 with 50 mm offset. Dont plan on putting springs on with a 43 offset and a 235 or 245. I may not have clearance on rear with 50 mm and 235's.
My original wheels had a 40 mm offset and we fought with them for 2 mos and couln't get the suspension from acting funky.
the suspension was engineered to work with a 55 offset. Dont try to change suspension geometry and expect your car to ride like a lxury /sport car. All of my suspension resonance problems disappeared when I corrected the offset.
The car had a severe balloon like feel and couldn't get the bounciness to go away. Discount tire bought back my original wheels due to their error in wrong offset.
