I was looking at the underside of my car today and since i was hit my Y Pipe is bent....What should I do?....How easy are they to get and how much would they be?...Thanks...

 

You didn't say if it was stock, or Comptech.

It probably isn't a big deal, if you don't notice any reduction in performance on the car. My concern would be to make damn sure that it's not leaking anything. If it's not leaking, then I would say not to worry about it.

If you are seriously worried about it, and it is the stock y-pipe why not see if someone on the board (that has upgraded to Comptech) would mind getting rid of theirs (facoty that is)?

 

It is a stock Y Pipe.....does the Comptech Exhaust come with a new Y Pipe??? If it does then i don't have a problem....it is the stock Y Pipe that is bent....thanks...

 

I remember you had a Comptech Exhaust on your car *wink wink* Make sure you inform your insurance that you will be needing a new Ypipe and new mufflers.

comptech exhaust includes two mufflers. thats it. the exhaust is bolted onto the stock y-pipe. so if he bent his stock y-pipe, then the only solution would be to get an OEM replacement from the dealer, or go to a muffler shop and have them fabricate a new one.
