Need help with foglights

Hey, I have a 2001 Acura CL. These are for the regular roadlamps. I've searched and read through 3 pages of the threads concerning roadlamps, and still had a question.

I'm on ebay and found a pair PIAA bulbs, but I'm not sure if this will melt the housing or not. So...

Will they melt the housing?

First Set:
PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow H3 Fog Light Bulb Xenon 13556

Once again, sorry if this has already been asked, but I searched and wasn't sure so sorry, and thanks!

the "roadlamps" CANNOT be used to put out any kind of significant light...

Yeah thats gonna melt your housing, H3 Bulbs are 55 watts. Original bulbs are 5 watts.

Get some LEDs from www.superbrightleds.com (i put in the ones that have 4 LEDs pointed around and one forward and they work great, they light up the housing pretty well)

From most of the posts I've read, many people used PIAA bulbs and they said it worked fine.

19224 (white) or 19173 (yellow) if you want PIAA bulbs (look 'em up on ebay)

The H3 Bulbs you're looking at are completely different... and will melt the housings

Thanks alot disgruntle. I have one more question.

I have 8000K HID Bulbs in my Headlights. Do you know the PIAA Bulb Size or Number that will match with that? And is there a tint I can put to make it blue, or should I just keep it tintless?

The roadlamps tend to get hit with lots of rocks and stuff from the road so i'm not sure how long tint on them will last. I've only tried one set of PIAA bulbs and didn't like 'em so i'm not very familiar with their different products. Go with LEDs... Lots and lots of LEDs!

The only thing keeps me away from LEDs is that if one of the bulbs blow outs, then it gets ruined.

Has anyone tried to put tints on the roadlamps and not get them worn out from the rocks, etc.

I use Lamin-X tint for my headlights. They are also the same thing as Rockblocker so they will not just tear away each time a rock hits. Heres a pic of it on my car.

The color of the headlight on looks more blue in real life and in the dark. It won't however be like real blue blue. More like crystal blue. I aso use 8000k bulbs.

What bulb do you have in the roadlamps, krazy?

I just want something that will compliment the 8000K HIDs.

I was thinking yellow, but people told me black (my car), blue hids and yellow roadlamps wouldn't look too good.

Thanks for you input. Let me know what bulbs you got.
